Bryan & Elaine tie the Knot @ Providence – 12 October 2013
We were really thrilled to help Elaine & Bryan from Gauteng with their delightful natural country wedding. Taking place at Providence, Elaine & Bryan were looking for natural and rustic elements to their wedding, displayed in a relaxed, unpretentious and elegant way. We assisted with the flowers and decor keeping with their chosen colour scheme of navy blue and pinks. Keeping in touch with Elaine’s love of proteas – we used a variety of local midlands proteas with indigenous fynbos and lots of baby’s breath….
For the ceremony we hung beautiful cream lace and patterned bunting in the quaint chapel of Providence with king proteas and baby’s breath bunches lining the pews. 3x original and hand-made drift wood hearts hung in the chapel window bordered by two abundant protea flower arrangements.
A cute directional arrow showed guests where to go….And a lovely little note station for guests to leave notes of love.
The guest tables had hessian and lace runners sewn by Elaine’s mum. We did the centrepieces of mixed clear bottles with a mixed variety of proteas, baby’s breath and little dome plates with succulents under them. Cute chalk table numbers finished off the tables perfectly…
For the main table a huge drift wood heart hung behind the bride and groom plus little stacks of books on the table and a lovely Mr and Mrs sign.
>Gorgeous navy blue and pink birds littered the chairs and similar bunting hang from the ceilings.
Overall it was a truly gorgeous and quaint wedding filled with lots of love and happiness and local gorgeousness….
