Nomthi & Maqhinga

Nomthi & Maqhinga Tie The Knot @ The Windmills – 02nd March 2014

We are really pleased how this stunning wedding turned out – it was just TOO beautiful for words. We helped Nomthi & Maqhinga realize their dream wedding day with a theme of country-chic and shabby-chic elegance. Her key colors were Yellow in all it’s beauty together with white and a touch of grey.

For the bridal bouquets we created whimsical yet elegant creations with 2 types of gorgeous yellow lilies, dendrobium orchids, white chinks, large headed crysantheums and baby’s breath plus more. We also created cute flower girl head wreaths and lily buttonholes for the boys….

For the reception tables we used our lovely new white shabby-chic crates which say ‘Love’, ‘Together’ and ‘Forever’. These were each paired with a single crystal candlestick and white short candlestick plus some mixed bottles tied with lace. Lace-wrapped and crystal votives provided additional romantic light and adding elegance. We used our burlap and lace runners with matching cutlery sets. These were placed with white napkins on glass under plates. We also provided the cute honey favors with pretty amber honey….
For the main table we used a variety of decor items – crystal hurricanes, silver edged vases and silver rose bowls both big and small. Plus the Mr and Mrs – just finished the main table off perfectly!

Last but not least and lovely hay bale couch chill area with crisp white summer umbrellas and in the chapel white lanterns down the aisle with saw dust shavings – unusual but looked great! Plus hanging white hearts with yellow ribbon and a chapel arrangement of yellow flowers in a birdcage.
