Minimalist. Green, Grey & White with Glass & Wooden elements – Lots of foliage for a forest look & Orchids to die for!

The simple & elegant decor was complimented by crisp glass look, banquet styled dark wooden tables & free standing trees splashed around the reception for the fresh forest finish.
Jess & Richard celebrated their wedding day at the lovely Fordoun in the KZN Midlands in Nottingham Road.

The couple exchanged their vows earlier in the day at the beautiful Michaelhouse Chapel, which they chose to compliment the stunning stained glass windows with bright & cheery floral arrangements & aisle posies – weren’t they just gorgeous!

A SNEAK PEEK… Jess & Jason, more to come!

Elegant & Natural Rustic Charm, with wooden elements,
Burgundy, Deep Plum, Pale Pink , White – Greenery & Glass

What a day! Jess & Jason exchanged their marriage vows at Granny Mouse Country House in June this year, it was lovely to see all the friends and family come together with such strong & genuine love for this couple.

The foliage & floral ‘pop’ runners made the day, along with the oh-so-striking soft & green foliage hanging installation over the couples main table, where we got to use our new blush / dusty pink tulle over lay <3

There really are no words that can begin to describe this amazing couple’s ; family wedding.
Down to earth, easy going & without a doubt… family & fun as the main focus.

White floras & tonnes of greenery beautifully complemented this stunning couple’s joined aura & compatibility. Paired with gorgeous macrame pieces by Artesense, putting this all together was really such a pleasure.

Roger & Haley’s Baby Shower

Posted on: November 11th, 2012 by kablooeymonsters

Saturday turned out to be a very welcoming warm and sunny day and just perfect for Roger and Haley’s Baby Shower. Our assistance with quaint vintage decor, set-up and styling was requested by Sam (Haley’s best friend) for the surprise baby shower. The setting was stunning – some lovely local stables where Haley keeps her horse. Beautifully kept greens and stables with a gorgeous and spacious club house with bar, kitchen and tables plus an outside patio with benches and umbrellas made this the perfect setting.

With Haley’s love of vintage decor, we embraced a rustic, vintage, and country style theme with elegant highlights in tones of pink and white to welcome their soon-to-be adopted baby girl.  We created a lovely entrance with a welcome blackboard, vintage farming equipment and just love the wheelbarrow with the pink baby blankets and teddies. Throughout the venue there were hints of pink and white and pastel vintage colors. We used pink and white polka dotted table runners with lace edging and large mason jar vases with wild country bunches of pink florals.

Mason jars with lemonade welcomed the guests along side a shabby-chic ladder filled with teddies, cute signs and decor. We used a variety of vintage items such as enamel tea pots filled with flowers, old vintage tins for cutlery, a pastel green typewriter, books tied with lace and old fruit crates. And added some height to the cake table with some vintage suitcases and we just love the little miniature red velvet cupcakes!

We also just adore the baby’s clothes pegged to the washing line – such a cute idea suggested by Sam! Sam also supplied Thank you gifts for each guest – sweet little Pink Zambuck lip balms and a note pin board for guests to leave Haley & Roger a well wishes note. Overall a beautiful and quaint celebration for Haley & Roger as they welcome a beautiful child into their lives. Wishing them all the love, luck and joy for the future. Love Natural Nostalgia…
