Bruce & Tarryn Tie the Knot – 06th April 2013 @ The Windmills
When two of your best friends finally wed- you are always honored and over-joyed to assist with the decor and a bit of planning! Bruce a long-time friend was finally marrying the girl of his dreams – the gorgeous Tarryn. Hooray – we’ve all been waiting patiently for this fabulous day and it was truly stunning.
Tarryn the editor and owner of the gorgeous little book ‘The Wedding Assistant’ had a good idea of what her dream day would entail. Keeping with a simple colour scheme of rich creams, dusty pink, dove grey and pale green with darker accents of a rich sea-blue. The flowers were done by the well-known florist Sue Cummins who happens to be Bruce’s Mumsie – and her beautiful arrangements made the focal point of each table. We assisted with stacks of books, vintage table number frames, lace-covered votives and lace napkin rings with a vintage button and flower detail. Taryn’s partner in business provided the gorgeous stationery and brought in the darker colour accents. We love the place setting card in the design of a postcard that double up and serves as a place to leave a note and post our cute vintage post box.
We also loved the opportunity to use our white shabby-chic desk drawers filled with baby’s breath – SO LOVELY!
Then of course it wouldn’t be a country wedding without some outside furniture, farming and gardening equipment and a spot of croquet.
And a scrumptious tea, coffee, cake. popcorn and toffee apple station. Yum!
Wishing Bruce and Tarryn all the best as they take the first stepping stone of married life together. Hope the honeymoon is awesome! Love you both and Thank you for using Natural Nostalgia to help make your dream day come true!
